Grift isn't a Red/Blue issue (but it's certainly getting worse under Trump and has to stop). It is hard enough to pay for our lives without some politician getting rich on the stock market or receiving lavish gifts. How do we, both R&D's, get this to stop? If you answer, "stop the other party," you lose.
