Green Creek - I work for a large construction company that works in the southern area of NJ. My boss has approached my friends who are police officers in Middle Twp. to come and work for him and he will train them at a higher salary than what they are making now. After training they will be making more than they will get in 8 years on the job. These officers have families and work 2 jobs and still can't afford the mortgage. My friends I care for, but they are born to do the job. I hate to see them struggle. Some are really thinking about the offer. McDonald's pays more than 3rd year officer.
