Goshen - My daughter was pulled over because her license expired Oct. 31. I know this was her fault, but the officer told her it was the same as driving with a suspended license. Is this true? He also told her he could impound her car for this, but cut her a break. Is this true?

Moderator's Note:
According to police, an unlicensed driver is not the same as a suspended driver. The suspended driver is a more serious offense. The car would not be towed as long as it is registered and insured.
