Goshen - I have waited to comment on Middle Twp. I am very upset what the mayor and the Chief of Police have done. Going to County dispatch will cost the taxpayers more and jeopardize the safety of the citizens and tourists passing through MT. Listening to the scanner, it is also jeopardizing our officers. The way they have to make a long radio transmission. County contractors may be making big bucks off of their computer software which gets passed onto the Towns who have the contracts with the County. $15 to $3000 per call and even more at times. Bad idea MT. Taxpayers deserve better.
