I have some absolutely fantastic finish carpenters. All of them are from Guatemala. I cannot positively verify their citizenship, so I am laying them off Dec 31 st unless they can prove they are legal. I cannot have a raid on my job site. Unfortunately, I will be turning away a lot of possible work that I cannot accomplish. I am not alone, and this is going to result in a lot slower building in this county, and higher prices.
