Congratulations to Lower Township for enacting an ordinance that protects animals during extreme temperatures. It is about time all the communities do this. Upper, Wildwood and now Lower Township. What is wrong with Middle Township and this new animal advisory committee which seems to meet and print articles, but accomplishes nothing? I call animal control about dogs in backyards without proper shelter and get no response. The animals still suffer. Hopefully, Middle Township Committee will take a more proactive approach and not just have committee meetings that get nothing done.
