For over $20 million bucks, you'd think the new Sea Isle Community Center would at least have had real hardwood flooring for the basketball court. The floor they installed is way too slippery for a basketball court. It's not a real playing surface. It's fine to shoot some baskets, but not good for pick up games. Local grade schools and high schools have better courts. Aside from that, the building is definitely an asset for the town. It's just disappointing that for such a big price tag, the town leaders didn't think to install a genuine basketball court playing surface.
