For decades the U.S. Agency for International Development provided food assistance, medical care, refugee support and disease prevention to civilians in foreign countries who were affected by war or economic collapse. Trump foolishly cut the program, opening the door for China and our other adversaries to step in and gain influence and allegiance. The United States will suffer the consequences of Trump's actions.
