Television is a vast wasteland of stupid insipid shows with loud annoying soundtracks of canned laughter and weird "special effects" noise. The commercials are even worse. The same commercials air dozens of times a night for a year at a time. The mainstream news is just a liberal propaganda machine highlighting the latest blood death and destruction and weepy feelgood stories. And what is all the fascination with zombies and vampires anyway. I just don't get it. Then we wonder with astonishment why a mentally unstable person picks up an array of weapons and shoots up a mall or a school.
