Conrad and Simonsen agreed in a unanimous vote to have an independent auditor examine the LTMUA. He reported they could save $1 million a year by merging the MUA with the town. They didn't like that report. They voted to support the public safety building committee, a committee made of citizens appointed by council. Simonsen even sat on the committee.
