Excellent articles by Vince Conti regarding NJ's electric woes. Especially the one about massively increasing demand from data centers (and crypto miners elsewhere) and their effect on consumer prices. I think their draw should be capped at a small percentage of public grid capacity and they should have to generate their own, if they need more, with wind and solar. This is the only way the general public can be protected from having to effectively subsidize data centers and avoid expensive grid upgrades that we wouldn't have needed otherwise. A pat on the back to Vince for reporting on this.
