Even though 6 local homeowners testified for single family homes, the Planning Board denied the developer's variance request to divide it into two lots for single family homes because the home designs were disproportionate (too big) to the smaller lot size. Will the developer just build a zoning approved duplex (which the Planning Board doesn't want either), or will they do what the local residents want and reduce the size of the two homes and reapply for a variance? My guess, they just build a duplex which nobody wants - the mighty dollar prevails again!
