Erma - Regarding a spout supporting our police: I believe most of us, citizens do indeed understand how difficult their job is nowadays, especially with the ubiquitous camera phones. However, the real culprit vilifying our cops is the cable news programs, including the broadcast media, with their ceaseless showing of these videos of altercations over and over again. Maybe we should let the programs' sponsors know our feelings.
