Erma - A professional athlete was working in Russia during the days leading up to the current conflict in Ukraine. When leaving Russia, this athlete was found to be in possession of traces of a substance that is illegal in Russia, hence this athlete was arrested. Am I the only American who does not feel sorry for said athlete? How can anyone be so ignorant as to try to pass through airport security in a dictatorship carrying anything that could even remotely be considered illegal? . Was it arrogance? Was ignorance? I don’t know, but that is the athlete’s responsibility.
