Erma - It doesn't work to put a $10 million pool in a town where 40% of the population is receiving welfare, 30% is on social security fixed income, and 10% earn below $30,000 a year and still expected to pay over $12 to visit a pool. A family of four would pay almost $50 just to swim for a few hours, and the town thinks they will come once a month? $500 for a family membership and pay another $500-$1,000 a year in more taxes.
