Erma - To the DT spouter about trade schools. Great alternative. Not everyone needs college even if they have good grades in H.S. I’ve been saying that for years. There is always a place for skilled workers with great pay and good hours. Also think about this. When someone gets out of college they may not find a job right away-often overqualified. They most likely have student loans to pay off or put their parents in the poor house plus they could have been making money in the last few years by learning a trade much sooner instead of mooching off mom and dad like I did.
