Erma - Anyone who buys thru Amazon BEWARE! I have receives two voice mail msgs from area code 914(Yonkers, NY) and claiming to be Amazon that unusual charges ( $400 and a day later another $1000) have been detected and put on hold until I authorized cancellation by pressing 1 on my phone. No way. I called the credit card co. that I use for Amazon and they showed no such charges and to definitely ignore this scam.If I pressed “1 “ it would tell the scammers that I use Amazon and they would surely insist on additional personal info. Don’t panic and fall for this.
