Erma - After seeing pictures of the fire in Lower Township, I have a few questions. Why was Cape May's fire chief there before his department was requested? Why was the assistant fire chief of Cape May there? Don't they get enough money to provide contractual obligations to Cape May? Also, why was the ex-fire chief/new Cape May fire official and new deputy city manager there with two other Cape May city hall employees, in a Cape May vehicle on Cape May's clock? I understand mutual aid requests for fires when they need manpower or equipment, but do they not need anyone to run protective services in their own town?
