Diamond Beach - A short while ago, I asked Spout Off readers about the former use of the dilapidated shacks a very short distance before "Lucky Bones" restaurant in Lower Township when going towards Cape May. A Spout Off responder confused the occupied houses with the dilapidated shacks. The two, long, bare wooden shacks in question are vacant, and have rotting wood and roofs in need of repair. The shacks are all connected and each has a separate entry door and porch area. They look like old style military barracks. They have a rustic charm to them. Does anybody know what they were used for?
