Diamond Beach - I am sometimes surprised at the weak coverage or priority given to certain events of interest to the area by the Herald. Example: scant coverage of the recent death of Bill Morey and his lifetime contributions to Wildwood and last week's coverage of the Annual Coast Guard community event at the Coast Guard Training Center receiving brief half page coverage on page 4 while front page coverage was given to the rehab of the MUA Administrative building with a full-color picture of a meeting room under construction. Support for our Coast Guard Training Center should receive the highest priority.

Moderator's Note:
Thanks for the feedback. We were proud to feature a special Coast Guard cover and section in our May 3 print edition, prior to the festival, which you may view online here: https://goo.gl/d4ctsw, and we continuously maintain a dedicated website page to feature CG content: www.CapeMayCountyHerald.com/Community/CoastGuard. Information on Bill Morey's passing was published on our website Jan. 14, which you may access here: https://goo.gl/j0V3i6. North Wildwood City Council remembered Morey at their Jan. 17 meeting, which we reported on our website Jan. 20: https://goo.gl/3djAht.
