A recent spouter is correct to question the wisdom of our kids off from school all summer, playing ball all day, or at the beach. No wonder our test scores are so low, and this country is so far behind places overseas. How do you justify wasting so much time every year with these useless vacations, when children overseas attend much longer and have longer school days?
