Dennisville - As a teacher in Cape May County, I’ve read about complaints people have about the teachers failing at doing their job, and the school’s low ranking, and all I want to say is, it is difficult to teach kids math, language arts, etc., on top of teaching them how to be kind, rule abiding, civilized students in class. When kids are being disrespectful and “not caring” and when teachers call home, some parents don’t seem to care, either. It is difficult. Times this problem by 20-some students in the classroom. It starts with parenting first. You want your kids to learn in school? Then be a good parent.
