Dennisville - My children attend Dennis Township Elementary/Middle School and they can not drink any water from the fountains because it is not safe. The teachers have requested that the kids bring plenty of water from home because the available water should not be consumed. Teachers and staff have reported the concerns about the water yet nothing has been done. It is unacceptable that our children, along with the adults in the building, do not have access to clean drinking water. This should not be a thing! Do better Dennis Township!

Moderator's Note:
Susan Speirs, superintendent, Dennis Township School District, said the school's water is safe to consume and is regularly tested. Water testing updates can be found on the school's website (https://bit.ly/3lmgH9C), according to Speirs. She also said the complaint might be referring to the school’s water fountains being shut down as a Covid precaution.
