Dennisville - Counter-intelligence evidence now exists that Flynn discussed Obama sanctions with a Russian ambassador on Dec. 29. Trump then tweeted on Dec. 30 that it was a smart move by Putin not to retaliate with sanctions against the U.S. Is it likely that Flynn would have independent authority to negotiate sanctions without Trump's approval? Not! Did Trump know in a timely fashion that Flynn discussed sanctions? Absolutely! His Dec. 30 tweet corroborates that he had knowledge of, and approved of Flynn's communications which had been promptly relayed to Putin at the Kremlin. Impeachment?

A CNN article Jan. 16 confirms, "Retired Army Gen. Michael Flynn, President-elect Donald Trump's pick for national security advisor, has been in contact with Russia's ambassador to Washington ... The Russian ambassador texted Flynn on December 28 but the two did not connect by phone until December 29 ..." A Washington Post article Dec. 30, 2016, confirms, "President-elect Donald Trump on Friday expressed his appreciation to Vladimir Putin after the Russian president said he would not expel American diplomats in response to new U.S. sanctions over hacking as a gesture to the incoming administration. 'Great move on delay (by V. Putin),' Trump tweeted Friday afternoon. 'I always knew he was very smart!'" The legal standard to imply to an impeachment is treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.
