Dennisville - Citizens following the affordable housing issue in Dennis Township should take note that according to a July 30 front page story in the Press of AC, our officials irresponsibly did not adhere to the court mandated filing deadline of July 8 to file plans for our township. We are now exposed to litigation and other court sanctions. Three possible reasons were offered: Officials were clueless and not paying attention, were paying attention but still can't comprehend the need to comply, or took a gamble that the state won't sue.
