Regulation of wood boilers, be it Linwood, Dennis Township, or any other town in America is about protection of the health, safety and welfare of its residents period. With no current regulation of wood boilers, Dennis Township is behind the national trend which recognizes the harmful and nuisance impacts on neighboring properties. Complaints have been filed with the Natural Resources Committee. It is time to enact ordinance(s) relative to expected growth and increased density (3/4 acre lots) as specified in the new Master Plan.
