At the last Dennis Township committee meeting, a typical "business as usual" occurrence happened. Despite damaging the windshields to two township vehicles, violating numerous OSHA safety regulations never done by professional, tree-trimming companies, and exposing the township to injury lawsuits, public works department was "officially commended" for trimming trees. This commendation is typical of the pandering for votes to get re-elected. Employees in public works have many family and friends who vote regularly in usually close elections, sometimes decided by just one vote!
