The Dennis Township School Aid cuts should be of no surprise to the Board of Education. For several years they have been told that the district will be facing financial issues in the future. They disregarded many recommendations which include a feasibility study and the need for a new bond referendum which would have replaced the old bond with little impact to taxpayers. Their micromanagement is costing the district money. Although there are new board members, the president is still the same. Newer members don't feel intimidated, ask questions. Put the children first and the politics last!
