All the parents who are opting their kids out of the PARCC test are enabling a new generation of entitled brats who think that mommy and daddy will get them out of anything difficult in their lives. I'm a teacher, and those commercials about how bad the test is for our kids makes me sick. It's a test for crying out loud, it's not like it's lead-based paint or asbestos! You know what else is difficult? Life, when you are no longer babied and allowed to avoid any kind of adversity. Tell your kids to suck it up and take the test. Call it practice for when it does count in a few years.
