100% the extension of Rt. 55 needs to be completed due to climate change. Those sinking homes and businesses along Rt. 47 need to be demolished for a much larger evacuation route. Doesn’t anyone remember Hurricane Irene? The gridlock traffic was insane when people were trying to evacuate including myself. It seems to me that people do not want to believe that there is always an option for a devastating hurricane to come through this county. Maybe one day you will change your mind before it’s too late.
