Why does it seem that middle school students in Dennis Township

Dennis Township - Why does it seem that middle school students in Dennis Township are unprepared in terms of Language Arts skills? My niece in seventh grade showed me various assignments this year and they are all simply busy work, or “packet” work with no real skills or values being learned. Students need to be learning necessary tools for high school, not simply doing busy work while teachers do other unrelated things in class. We need to get these kids fully prepared and Dennis Township Language Arts teachers must do better.
