Dennis Township - The Trump backlash of energized "resistance voters" first occurred in Virginia and New Jersey as two Democrats were elected governors on Nov. 7. Despite Trump's personal robocalls and Republican National Committee funding for Roy Moore, "the resistance" has struck again on Dec. 12 with Democrat Doug Jones winning a U.S. Senate seat in Alabama, which has not sent a Democrat to the Senate in over 25 years.
