Dennis Township - To the Stone Harbor know-it-all with the negative comment on NJ public school attendees not knowing the US is a republic not a democracy: I was educated in NJ and I learned that the US is a "representative democracy" meaning that our government is elected by citizens who vote for their government officials. So we're a democratic republic. Did that spouter miss a few Civics classes?
