Dennis Township - Saw the beautiful, mature bald eagle at Dennis Creek again Sept. 6, this time hunting the wetlands between Captain Tates, the railroad, and Dennisville. What a glorious sight. Thank goodness a previous generation saw fit to pass the Endangered Species Act, which protects the eagle's ecosystem. Now we all have the opportunity to witness this living symbol of America in his native habitat.
