I implore you to check out NJSP uniforms- especially their rank insignia. There is no "badge" indicating rank on the standard NJSP uniform. Only patches on their sleeves, and sometimes a patch in the center of their chest on a "tactical" vest/uniform. What does the Lieutenant rank insignia look like?
