Dennis Township - The primary reason juveniles on ATVs have overrun neighborhoods in South Dennis is because of their parents. They know it is completely illegal to ride on the streets, and yet they knowingly choose to break both state motor vehicle laws and a municipal ATV ordinance. Parents who flaunt these laws can be charged in municipal court under parental responsibility and liability for the actions of their juveniles. But what happens if their child or someone else is injured or killed? Certainly lawsuits, but how about criminal charges from the Co. Prosecutor for child endangerment and manslaughter?
