Dennis Township - My fourth grader told me Jan. 6 that their teachers were moving all their stuff from their classroom to a different one due to numerously increasing leaks. In his estimate, they had 20-30 buckets catching the water in his classroom, and the elementary school gym has two trash cans collecting water. Mr. Miller, in an article I found from October 2015, had told the board they could only patch up the roof so many times and would need a new roof. Our kids need it now. Please, let us keep the children's minds, which those wonderful teachers at DTSD are filling daily with skills and knowledge, safe and dry!
