Dennis Township - Last year our County Commissioners, in the name of "saving the whales", spent nobody knows how many of our tax dollars fighting an offshore wind turbine project that would have benefited all County residents. Actual scientific studies, ignored by the commissioners, show no detrimental effect on whales. These same, oh so environmentally concerned commissioners, just bulldozed 40 acres of upland oak forest, habitat to thousands of species, at our County Park. Of course, the 1%ers whose beach front views will not be vulgarized by unsightly turbines 18 miles offshore are happy.
