Dennis Township - It is laughable to read Dep. Mayor O'Connor's published comments about how DT citizens are reaping "paid dividends" from the Upper/Dennis Twp. shared services municipal court. All DT taxpayers are doing is funding hundreds of thousands of dollars as second-class citizens. He states that UT and DT have much in common. Certainly noise disturbances are generic to both townships, and all municipal courts in Cape May Co., except for DT, hear ordinance-based noise complaints. UT has had a nuisance noise ordinance to address a multitude of noise disturbances since 2010, funded by DT homeowners.
