I'm really not sure why business/conservatives are so set agains

Dennis Township - I'm really not sure why business/conservatives are so set against raising the minimum wage. If lower wage earners earn more money, they will spend more money. And guess who ends up with the money they spend. Business. So raising the minimum wage means more money in the hands of business (and more taxes collected, too) and a whole segment of society with some hope restored. It's a win-win-win.
