Dennis Township - I have not had a local political candidate come knocking on my door in many years in Dennis Township. This being said, I am encouraged by the highly publicized efforts by Republicans Turner, VanArtsdalen, and Nolan to get folks to bring their issues directly to them on Oct. 6 at the Shore Gate Golf Club at 5 to 8 p.m. In speaking for all those who cannot make it, I encourage these candidates to review the Spout Off archives for the hundreds of spouts about substandard living conditions in Dennis Township concerning public safety concerns, nuisance problems, citizen committees, etc.
