Dennis Township - First, Middle Township enacted a citizen's animal welfare advisory board, which promptly upgraded ordinance protections for pets and outdoor animals. Now, Lower Township is the latest responsive government to upgrade their animal welfare regulations concerning extreme weather conditions and outside tethering. A Lower Township resident and animal advocate is quoted in the media saying, "outdoor pets will have a different life now." In Dennis Township, outdoor animals and pets will never experience such a better life due to the stagnant and backward-thinking governance of township committee.
