Dennis Township - Dennis Township Committeewoman Salimbene is advocating for "Serenity Sundays" which is voluntary, and not a law or ordinance. The intent of her request is to "raise awareness" of the importance of a little peace and quiet on Sunday mornings, but in reality, the "big picture" concerning noise here is that Dennis Township is the only municipality in all of Cape May County that does not regulate and protect its citizens from nuisance and harmful noise. Why is there no noise ordinance like everywhere else to protect everyone every day of the week, and not just Sunday mornings?
