Dennis Township - Cape May County freeholders and local officials need to take a page out of the book of Cumberland County. The Adopt-a-Road Program there has been reopened to cover 540 miles of litter clean-up. The Cumberland County Improvement Authority advises that there is no shortage of groups, families and individuals who wish to participate. An organized effort in Cape May County certainly will yield similar results to clean up the hundreds of miles of trash strewn roads here. Why not do this to promote pride and tourism, and reduce litter collection costs?
