Dennis Township - Being blessed with hands-on skills is an occupation that has become an undervalued trade. Ten dollars an hour as a starting wage for manual labor is potentially more harmful to the worker's well-being than the pain and discomfort later years will bring from so much strain on their bodies. A young man in the area knows carpentry, framing, masonry, roofing, siding, and can read blueprints but can't get a decent paycheck! This is over 10 years of experience in all these trades. He will be able to pass his knowledge to others but paying the guy a rate he deserves is not the way these days. Why?
