Dennis Township - After the meetings last month with New Jersey State Police about the rampant juvenile problems in Dennisville, and along with the continued illegal ATV riding on the streets of South Dennis, it is apparent that Dennis Township Committee must take responsible actions to upgrade the safety of our streets and communities. Just calling Woodbine troopers and getting a response based on available manpower is not enough. A dedicated patrol presence is needed and can be done in an affordable way by hiring retired police officers to serve as constables. Also, a public safety sub-committee is needed.
