Several Cape May County municipalities are now moving towards live online streaming of public government meetings. Dennis Township made positive movements in 2013 by instituting online audio recordings of public meetings here. In the interests of transparency and maximum citizen inclusion, we now need to go further and institute this online ability to record and see our public meetings. The current audio technology was donated free of charge to taxpayers. Perhaps the same can occur again to upgrade to online streaming. If not, the cost should be nominal and money well spent.
