With real estate companies and rental owners being asked to stop short term rentals starting April 1, has anyone considered the liability of owners for deep cleaning between renters. Regular cleaning of short term rentals does not include sanitizing of all surfaces to kill viruses. If the previous renter is contagious and touches plates, glasses, flatware, backs of chairs, even upholstery, just to give several examples, the virus can spread to the next renter. Is there some type of "hold harmless" clause in the lease? Something to consider.
