Look at the school budget. Look at the COSTS involved in fielding a football program. There is the facility to build and maintain. There is all of the expensive equipment. There is the insurance. There are the buses required to transport. There are all the coaches that have to be paid. Privatize high school football. And by privatize, I mean the NFL should be footing the expense. They realize BILLIONS of dollars each and every year with players that began their careers in school yet the NFL contributes nothing to maintain the programs. It falls on local property owners.
