I object to the American people waging war with the Islamic State (ISIL). I am opposed to any authorization by our government to continue to bomb and use force. Military force never worked in that region. The air strikes, which save our soldiers, kill others, while keeping the information out of the press. We cannot bomb an ideology or heal sectarian conflicts with the barrel of a gun. Diplomacy and humanitarian efforts are more effective.
